At the Southern cluster of the Nigerian map lies Ekiti state, home to ‘Sanmi Abiodun who realizes that he was not born with a silver spoon but was born to see the silver lining around every cloud.

Sanmi is a lawyer by profession, a public speaker with precision and a writer with distinction. His academic precedence features Second Class (Upper) degrees from both Nigeria’s premier university and the Nigerian Law School; preliminary education at the International School, Ibadan; Basic Operating Systems Certificate from NIIT; as well as a Cambridge Advanced Level Certificate. He practices Law currently with the law firm of Jackson, Etti and Edu, giving General Corporate Commercial legal advice and Business Regulatory Advisory services to foreign and local corporate clients alike. He however has renewed interest in Oil and Gas Law, Intellectual Property Law and Taxation.

To fan the flames of his writing skill, Sanmi writes and is an Assistant Editor with ESQ Legal Practice Magazine and is also a contributor to several youth magazines, national dailies and academic journals. He is currently the founding president of SPIN Africa Foundation, a non-governmental organization, and also a consultant with Legal Blitz Legal Consulting.

In October 2009, Sanmi was referred to as one of Nigeria’s “fourteen best and brightest” having been selected as a contestant on The Debaters Reality TV Show sponsored by Inspire Africa Foundation, GTBank, United States Information Service and British Council. . Sanmi is currently undertaking a course at the Nigerian Institute of Management.
